17 March 2022 – Bangkok – Suzuki Motor (Thailand) revamps the Suzuki XL7 to add two-tone color selections to bolster the model’s popularity in the MPV market. This ‘Multi-Dynamic Crossover’ is the ‘perfect fit’ to every modern day lifestyle, with pricing set to begin at only 789,000 baht. Suzuki has further planned to increase the model’s share in the MPV market to 5,400 units. With its multi-purpose features which answers the needs of all drivers, the XL7 has become one of the top choices among Thai customers in the national MPV market. The popularity and quality of this crowd-pleaser is guaranteed by its existing cumulative sales of over 6,000 units in Thailand alone, since its launch in the middle of 2020. The Multi-Dynamic Crossover design and comprehensive technological features installed within the vehicle have truly brought the model’s main theme to reality - “Think XL7, Think Beyond Expectations”.

As its latest move, Suzuki Motor (Thailand) will, once again, boost its leading role in the small MPV market but introducing the newly upgraded Suzuki XL7 Two Tone. Mr. Minoru Amano, President of Suzuki Motor (Thailand) said, with the current popularity for MPVs in the automotive market, various automobile competitors have been intensely racing against each other which helped nudged this sector in the direction of continuous growth. He stressed that this is good for consumers as it would provide customers with more options to choose from. He noted Suzuki is set to modify the Suzuki XL7 to be more attractive and bolder, while maintaining its excellent performance and features as a top Multi-Dynamic Crossover.

Mr. Wallop Treererkngam, Executive Director for Sales and Marketing of Suzuki Motor (Thailand) explained, Suzuki XL7 will now come in a Two Tone color design – a black roof that contrasts with the color of the body. Black-colored side mirrors and black-chromium grille will be installed to display the bold and intensified sports-car-like feel. These new designs will complement the LED headlights which have been devised to be able to lower the degrees of the light and equipped with Daytime Running Light and fog lamps. The whole car body will be furnished will silver strips all around, along with vertical LED and brake lights. Black arches for the wheel will be decorated to add more boldness and will be a perfect match for the 16-inch two-tone aluminum alloy wheels. Roof racks will also be included to ensure that vehicle owners can use them to fit whichever purpose they might need.

The console will be decked with CarbonFiber and chromium strips. Technological features which are well loved by all will remain, including the LCD gauges which will display the vehicle’s important information. A 10-inch LCD screen will also be preinstalled to enable passengers to change their sound preferences digitally. The Bluetooth system in the car can be used to access Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with ease, while the USB and HDMI slots are set up in the front console, and passengers can take advantage of the 12V-power supply sockets in three locations within the vehicle.

The passenger cabin is spacious, divided into 3 rows and 7 seats. The second row seats can be adjusted into the 60:40 ratios and can be slid for a total length of 240 millimeters. To further supply the feeling of a sports car, the multi-function D-shape steering wheel is installed and driver can control the audio and smartphones straight from the wheel. Keyless Push Start and Keyless Entry systems, as well as electric side mirrors further ensure more convenience for both the driver and passengers.

The model comes equipped with the 1.5-litre K15B engine, with a horse power of 105 at 6,000 rounds/minute and torque of 138 newton meter at 4,400 rounds/minute. Its 4-speed transmission system assures a smooth and balance driving experience, while the HEARTECT platform, Suzuki’s unique technology, enhance an excellent driving performance that is agile, fun, safe, and of course, increase fuel economization.

The suspension system has been especially designed for different driving style with a ground clearance of 200 millimeters. A large stabilizer bar is installed to reduce motion for a smoother drive and to help heighten road grips. SRS airbags are added to the front seats and the brake systems equipped within the vehicle include the ABS and EBD which helps balance out the braking strength and ensure smoother pull out on steep hills. The XL7 has the ISOFIX for baby seats, as well as the Top tether. Camera with sensors is installed and the key comes with the Immobilizer safety feature to prevent theft.
