22 March 2022 – Mr. Minoru Amano, President of Suzuki Motor (Thailand) expressed that the 43rd Bangkok International Motor Show 2022 set to be held at the Challenger Halls 1-3 at Impact Muang Thong Thani from 23 March – 3 April 2022, is one of the most important vehicle exhibitions in Thailand. Such event has played a key role in helping to stimulate the Thai automotive industry to get back on track after the industry has been affected by various factors. For this year, Suzuki has also planned to participate in the event by displaying all of its models, while upholding its commitment to present the best quality products to the Thai customers of every lifestyle.

The theme for the 43rd International Bangkok Motor Show is “EXPAND YOUR BOUNDERIES”, in which the main communication is to provide consumers with the opportunity to experience the diversity that the Suzuki brand has to offer. Suzuki is confident to meet the needs and demands of all groups of customers with its high quality and affordable automobiles and products. This also falls in line with current situation, where a large group of people is still continuously impacted by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, which prompted them to change their way of life. Many customers are now seeking to experience life in a new and exciting way through traveling. In answer to this, Suzuki has expanded its efforts to adapt its operational plans in various sectors to meet the changing demands of consumers.

Once again, all models of Suzuki vehicles will be showcased at the event, though the highlight this time around would be the new look of the 7-seater Suzuki XL7 Multi-Dynamic Crossover, Suzuki’s famous family car which will now come with a two-tone color to attract those looking for something new.

Mr. Minoru further noted, although the automotive market during the past year has seen a bit of a struggle, Suzuki was still able to reach a total sale of 22,378 units in 2021. This was due to Suzuki’s main strategy of presenting the perfect products to the right group of customers, where they can easily become an owner of Suzuki vehicle which further help to provide safety and happiness to drivers. This also reflect Suzuki’s ambition to provide the best products and services to consumers during the time of new way of life. Mr. Minoru stressed that with the improving situation and the atmosphere of the 43rd Bangkok International Motor Show 2022, Suzuki firmly believes it can generate up to 2,400 units of vehicle bookings at the event alone, which should help the company achieve its goal of total sale of 30,000 units by year’s end.

Mr. Wallop Treererkngam, Executive Director for Sales and Marketing of Suzuki Motor (Thailand), meanwhile, informed that visitors at the motor show will get the chance to closely experience Suzuki’s highlight for the event – the 7-seater Suzuki XL7 Multi-Dynamic Crossover. This crowd’s favorite family car has recently won the Best Petrol SUV Under 1500 c.c. award from the Car of the Year 2022 Award Ceremony, organized by the Grand Prix International Plc. The SUZUKI XL7 comes in a new style of two-tone color – a black top contrasting with the body color. The black side mirrors further add the sports-car-feel, while the front black-chromium grille brings out more boldness. This goes hand-in-hand with the LED headlights which has the capability to lower the brightness of the dim lights. The model is also equipped with the Daytime Running Light and fog lights. The bumpers are decorated with silver strips all around, whereas the LED taillights is designed to be horizontal. More boldness can be seen in the black wheel arches and the 16-inch wheels will come with the two-tone aluminum alloy cover. The vehicle will also be installed with roof racks to provide more storage space for the owners. Pricing for the model begins at only 789,000 baht.

The multipurpose pickup truck that no one should miss out on is the Suzuki Carry. Exclusively for this event, the model will be transformed into a ‘Motor Home’, which is in trend with the motor home market which is gradually growing in Thailand. Since the start of the pandemic, most have opted to build a motor home in order to travel and be safe, or to adapt to the new way of life of being able to ‘work from anywhere’. At the same time, more consumers are interested in starting a Food Truck business, which makes Suzuki Carry the perfect choice to be used as a home and workplace.

Suzuki Carry has the perfect size for modification, with its body length of 4,195 mm., width of 1,765 mm., and height of 1,910 mm. The model comes with a flatbed made from galvanized steel which helps prevent erosion and reduce deterioration. The flatbed has a width of 1,670 mm. is 2,450 mm. in length. It can be opened on three sides, making packing and unpacking an easy feat and comfortable for diverse use. The flatbed’s highest capacity is 945 kg. and pricing starts at only 385,000 baht.

The popular SUZUKI SWIFT will also be on display at the event. The model has generated continuous top sales for Suzuki due to its unique design and HEARTECT platform, Suzuki licensed technology which has been developed to help reduce the vehicle’s weight while maintaining its strength and increase fuel economization. The DUALJET 1.2-litre K12M engine further ensures low pollution and high fuel economization. The price for this model begins at only 557,000 baht. And for this event, the model has been especially accessorized to wow those looking for their own style and uniqueness.

The perfect car in both design and performance, the SUZUKI CIAZ, is another model which is the most suitable choice for drivers looking for value-worthy vehicle and easy maintenance. And with the right pricing for the current pandemic situation, the SUZUKI CIAZ has even further strengthened Suzuki’s eco car’s sector. Pricing for this model starts at only 523,000 baht.

The compact car with beyond qualities, Suzuki Celerio, has also been well received among consumers. During the past year, the model has done well in terms of sales, as the name says it all ‘its qualities are beyond anyone’s imaginations’. The driving performance of the automobile is excellent with high fuel economy of 20 km./liter, while pricing which begins at only 328,000 baht, with special interest rates and installments starting at 1,999 baht/month has attracted more drivers to the model.

Since its premier, the 7-seater SUZUKI ERTIGA has also been warmly welcomed by the general public, particularly among the group of drivers in search of the perfect family vehicle. Pricing for this model starts at 659,000 baht.

Mr. Wallop added that at the upcoming Bangkok International Motor Show, Suzuki will be holding a special campaign – the “SUZUKI SUPER SURPRISE DEAL”, where customers will receive various limited offers available at the booth. This include 120 days free-driving and a 4,000 baht discount per month on installments, and free gasoline cash card 3,000 bath.
