13 December 2022 – Bangkok – Mr. Minoru Amano, President of Suzuki Motor (Thailand) expressed that the 39th International Motor Expo was a great platform that helped stimulated the purchasing atmosphere between consumers and retailers, as a large number of visitors packed the expo during the event. This led Suzuki to achieve the targeted number for booking set for the event, with the figure reaching as high as 2,464 units. This is due mainly to the confidence and trust customers have in Suzuki’s products and choosing to become part of the Suzuki family by selecting a vehicle from a range of Suzuki cars that fits everyday life. He said, the SUZUKI SWIFT continues to be very popular among drivers with its compact size and sports hatchback design and is proven to be so by having the highest bookings this time around. Meanwhile, the different and varying needs of drivers were fulfilled by the NEW SUZUKI ERTIGA SMART HYBRID with its SMART HYBRID engine and full functionality, perfect for every purpose, informed Mr. Amano. He added that Suzuki’s tech of SHVS, which combines the workings of a motor and electricity known as the Integrated Started Generator (ISG) and a Lithium-ION battery ensure that the engine does not have to run too hard, as there is a Regenerative system installed in the engine. This further helps to reduce gas emissions making the automobile more eco-friendly.
