‘Suzuki’ daring every limit by organizing The “SUZUKI CELERIO 1999 No Boundary Journey” Event

8 March 2021 – Bangkok – Suzuki Motor (Thailand) Co. Ltd. is set to hold the “SUZUKI CELERIO 1999 No Boundary Journey” event and would like to invite the media to join in the journey to prove the model’s performance to reiterate Suzuki CELERIO’s success as a compact eco car with beyond par qualities. Drivers will be competing through 4 challenging missions in 4 provinces of 4 regions across Thailand for a total distance of 1,999 kilometers.
Mr. Minoru Amano, President of Suzuki Motor (Thailand) said, the objective of the “SUZUKI CELERIO 1999 No Boundary Journey” event is to restate Suzuki CELERIO’s success and driving performance to the customers, that it is an eco car that is truly “worth its value” and is a current hit among consumers. In the past year, Mr. Amano said, Suzuki CELERIO was extremely well received, bringing the total sales to stand at 4,531 units in 2020, which is 295% compared to 2019. Meanwhile, sales for the model during the first two months of 2021 is now at 648 units.
Mr. Wallop Treererkngam, Executive Director for Sales and Marketing of Suzuki Motor (Thailand) stressed, the event will help inform drivers that apart from its agility, the Suzuki CELERIO has a high level of fuel economy and full functionality, prompting the model to be dubbed as one of the top value-eco cars in Thailand. The “SUZUKI CELERIO 1999 No Boundary Journey” event will definitely attest Suzuki CELERIO’s limitless capabilities that such a compact vehicle is more than capable to take its passengers on a journey around the country. The event, Mr. Wallop noted, will allow drivers to experience the outstanding qualities of this model through the completion of 4 missions in 4 provinces in the 4 regions of Thailand in a total driving distance of over 1,999 kilometers.
1st Mission: Bangkok – Prachuabkhirikhan route
- This journey will affirm Suzuki CELERIO’s multipurpose ability, as participating correspondents will be joining a long drive of 445 kilometers, fully loaded with baggage to see how this compact eco car with its 254 liters’ storage capacity, flexible for various types of storage, could still easily take passengers to the final destination, despite being fully packed.
2nd Mission: Bangkok – Rayong route
- With the long distance of more than 500 kilometers, the media is invited to test out the model’s driving performance, including quick acceleration response, sturdy suspension which provides good road grip fit for difference types of roads and traffic.
3rd Mission: Bangkok – Nakhon Ratchasima (Khao Yai) route
