17 March 2021 – Bangkok – On 5 March 2021, Mr. Wallop Treererkngam, Executive Director for Sales and Marketing Suzuki Motor (Thailand), received the best of the Car of the Year 2021 award on behalf of Suzuki Motor (Thailand), a prestigious event hosted by the Grandprix International Public Company Limited at Impact Muang Thong Thani.

For this year, the Suzuki XL7 won the Best Petrol SUV Under 1500 c.c. award, not only for its fuel economization but its excellent driving performance and functionality which are perfect for every lifestyle. The award was presented by Mr. Thongchai Chawalitpichaet, Director-General of the Office of Industrial Economics (OIE). The event was organized by Grandprix International Public Company Limited to promote and uplift the standard and quality of automotive businesses in order for the Thai automotive industry to be better recognized by the general public and global community.

The Suzuki XL7 was introduced in Thailand in July 2020, which the model has been well received ever since, where the accumulated total sales have already reached over 3,000 units.
