He noted that since Suzuki began operations in Thailand. the SUZUKI SWIFT has generated the highest sales, where the total sales from its launch in 2010 until present is as high as 139,477 units. Mr. Amano then expressed his warmest gratitude to all Thai customers for their constant acceptance and support for the Suzuki brand, while promising that Suzuki will continue to thrive to become the number one brand in the hearts of the Thai people. He added that Suzuki has been attaching great importance to continually develop and advance Suzuki’s products to meet customers’ needs. In its latest move, Suzuki will be rolling out the SUZUKI SWIFT GL PLUS into the eco car market, a special edition of the model which has been upgraded with more sports-like feel to cater to sports cars’ lovers. This new edition will further cement its predecessor, the SWIFT GL MAX EDITION’s success for Suzuki, since it was extremely well received straight after its premier in 2020. Suzuki is confident that this special edition will help strengthen the company’s eco car army for the year.

Mr. Wallop Treererkngam, Executive Director for Sales and Marketing of Suzuki Motor (Thailand), at the same time, informed that starting this year (from January – July 2021), SUZUKI SWIFT was able to generate sales of 3,901 units, and to reiterates Suzuki’s commitment in bringing the best of products to its customers, the company is preparing to launch the SUZUKI SWIFT GL PLUS specially accessorized edition into the Thai market. This new edition will retain the image of a sports car that fits every desire, while marching forward to expand the success of the crowd-favorite sports-hatchback eco car.

The SUZUKI SWIFT GL PLUS specially accessorized edition comes with the theme, “Arousing Speed, Plus-style to the Max”, and is an upgrade from the SWIFT GL with an aim to cater to larger groups of customers; the sports-car feel has been uplifted another notch to entice drivers that also comes with an exclusive full-body accessories designed to attract every Suzuki customer.

The SUZUKI SWIFT GL PLUS is installed with full-body skirts and a spoiler to increase the sports-car style, shark-fin antenna, and black wheel arches. The edition is even more unique with its limited decorative stickers that will stimulate every driver’s style.

The GL Plus has a CVT transmission and a fuel economy of 23 km./liter with the E20 fuel.

It also comes with the HEARTECT platform, a one-of-a-kind design that helps reduce the vehicle’s weight but preserve the strength and ensure fuel economization. The TECT body structure increase the sturdiness of the automotive, while the NVH system absorbs vibration and ambience noise.

The TCS system provides better control while driving along slippery or curved roads. The model is further furnished with ABS brakes, EBD stabling control, and ESP system that eases pull outs on steep roads. The IDLING STOP system is great for city drivers as it helps save fuel while the engine is idling and the Hill Hold Control system further increase safety while pulling out on steep hills. Completing the safety system of the entire car is the double SRS airbags in the fronts seats.
