The situation, nonetheless, Mr. Amano said, has gradually improved and the setting up of this expo at the end of the year should help stimulate sales.

He stressed that the highlight for this motor expo is the SUZUKI SWIFT GL PLUS sports-hatchback eco car that comes with special accessories to provide boldness and uniqueness for drivers in search of something out of the ordinary.

The SUZUKI CARRY will also be on display to spark new ideas for entrepreneurs seeking to begin their own journey in movable-businesses with innovations and creativities created for the present day lifestyle.

Mr. Amano noted, however, that although the Covid-19 situation is showing signs of easing, Suzuki continues to worry for the safety of every consumer and visitor. Mr. Wallop Treererkngam, Executive Director for Sales and Marketing of Suzuki Motor (Thailand), meanwhile, expressed that Suzuki’s participation in the upcoming Thailand Motor Expo 2021, together with the gradually improved pandemic situation will certainly helped stimulate sales at year’s end. He further noted that the focus of the show is the SUZUKI SWIFT GL PLUS sports-hatchback eco car which comes with the theme of “Arousing Speed, Plus-style to the Max”, and has been enhanced to attract drivers who are looking for something special. The new model is installed with full-body skirts and a spoiler to increase the sports-car style, shark-fin antenna, black wheel arches, and double exhaustion pipes to show off its aggressiveness. The edition is even more unique with its limited decorative stickers and comes with a starting price of 567,000 baht.

Mr. Wallop informed that visitors will be able to shop for every make and model from Suzuki, including the SUZUKI SWIFT, Thai drivers’ most beloved sports eco car that has continuously generated the highest sales for Suzuki, with its unique design and the 1.2-litre K12M DUALJET engine which helps lower gas emission and generate a fuel economy of 23 km./liter and the starting price of only 557,000 baht.

The 7-seater crossover, SUZUKI XL7, the model which captivated the definition of a full-function family car will also be put on show for everyone to see. The SUZUKI XL7 is currently very popular with a total of number of 4,982 units already sold since its launching (July 2020-October 2021). It comes with LED headlights equipped with the Daytime Running Light, chromium strips under the bumper, 16-inch black wheel arches and two-tone aluminum alloy wheel covers, as well as a roof rack to store more luggage and gears. The interior has a sports-style console with Carbon Fiber pattern and chromium strip, an LCD screen is installed to display the vehicle’s vital information, whereas the passenger cabin is spacious and comfortable, dividing the 7 seats into 3 rows. The second row can be folded separately at a 60:40 ratios and can slide forward and backward for a distance of 240 millimeters, meaning getting in and out of the back row can be done with ease. The third or back row can be folded at a 50:50 ratios, giving passengers the free reign to decide on how to adjust the seating to fit every need. Next in line is the SUZUKI CELERIO, a compact car that boasts a complete set of outstanding features. This model has been well received by the crowd especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, due to its great driving performance and fuel economy of 20 kilometers per liter. Such features and the starting price of only 328,000 baht are also attracting more drivers to the model.

Another not to be missed model is the SUZUKI ERTIGA. This 7-seater MPV continues to be a hit with its unique and modern design and vibe of agility. The pickup has a flatbed made from galvanized steel to prevent erosion, with extra width and length of 1,670 millimeters and 2,450 millimeters, respectively, to provide a larger space for cargoes that can hold a maximum weight of 945 kilograms. The flatbed could also be opened from all 3 sides, giving users more convenience that is perfect for every task. The SUZUKI CARRY’s starting price is 385,000 baht.
